About Me
I have worked with subject matter experts, technologists, academics, small business owners, founders, C-suite leaders, and more – helping them home in on their message and convey it with clarity and verve.

I’ve worked for in-house marketing and communications departments, with leading thinkers and policymakers at research universities, and as an editor for publications such as TechCrunch and Built In.
“Working with Jenna made me feel at home. Their sense of social awareness, humor, and ability to fine-tune any piece of writing they touch is a true gift. Their ability to connect well with others while also being uniquely themselves is an underrated skill that any potential client should seek out.”
— Miranda Perez, Journalist and Publicist, Program Coordinator at the HBCU Founders Initiative
Master of Arts in the Humanities, the University of Chicago
My thesis, advised by Dr. Deborah Nelson, was the creation of a hypothetical anthology of Joan Didion’s writing on crime for which I wrote the introduction. It traced the co-development of modern fiction and modern journalism, the advent of the true crime phenomenon, and Didion’s development as an author and thinker.
I was the recipient of the Lawrence Grauman Jr. Fellowship.
Bachelor of Arts in English, Reed College
My thesis, advised by Peter Rock, was a collection of personal essays and reportage.
I received numerous awards and commendations for academic achievement, including induction into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest academic honor society.
